TREEHOUSE
music video // still dreaming
transmission pendinga music video for treehouse by alex g. the camera walks itself down a river of code to a treehouse. halfway through, the same dream plays again at night, and it is wrong.
every shot is filmed inside the engine. walking through door 18 starts the song, and a director script moves the camera, cutting on each sung line.
each line gets its own set piece: a corridor of doors, a crowd of dolls turning away, one doll alone in a beam of light, the river climbing the trunk.
the second stanza replays the set pieces at night, in red, the wrong way round.
